Ethan Cutkosky and Nikki Roumel cast in Giannetti Films and GunnerMAX Productions latest feature film.

EXCLUSIVE: Ethan Cutkosky (Shameless) and Nikki Roumel (Ginny & Georgia) are among cast joining coming-out feature film, Our Family Pride, from filmmakers Glen Evelyn and Dominic Giannetti.

Based on Evelyn’s real-life events, Our Family Pride tells the personal journey of a family that comes together through conflict and difficult times, amid finding out their father, Jaimie (Evelyn), is gay later in life.

Cutkosky will play Tim, a high-school bad boy who flirts with Jaimie’s daughter, and Roumel emerges as her popular best friend, Bri.

YouTuber Lev Cameron (Blue Ridge), Jake Holley (Riley), Sofia Lauren Giannetti (God Will Listen), Gianna Angela (Pickleball Pandemonium), and Michael Nardelli (Revenge) have also newly joined the cast.

Evelyn and Giannetti will be co-directing and producing the project under their GunnerMAX Productions and Giannetti Films respectively, marking the first collaboration for the best friends of nearly 20 years. Dina Martucci, VP at Giannetti Films, will also produce.

Cutkosky spent 11 seasons as the troublemaking younger brother Carl Gallagher on Shameless, Showtime’s longest-running original scripted series. Prior to that, he portrayed the mythical spirit Barto in The Unborn opposite Gary Oldman and appeared in the film Fred Claus with Vince Vaughn.

Canadian actress Roumel is best known for playing the young Georgia Miller in Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia. She also appeared in the Netflix thriller Designated Survivor and Hulu’s Holly Hobbie.
